Hey Bev and family. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. Last time I saw you Bev was in the parking lot of the nursing home. We were both there to visit someone we loved! And life marches on. I have always said, doesn’t matter how old you are or how old your parent was. Losing a parent is never easy. I bet you all have a ton of good memories. Memories are pretty awesome. Love Sue

I am very saddened to read in the paper of the passing of Marie Turner. I send my sincere condolences to her immediate and extended families. My late wife Margaret and I became acquainted with Marie back in the late 1970's and early 1980's through the Order of the Eastern Star when her Sister Helen served the Order as Worthy Grand Matron in 1983/84 and I had the honour of being the Worthy Grand Parton. I have many fond and happy memories of Marie, Helen and their sister Dorothy, as well as their families from those years. Rest in peace Sister Marie.
Sincerely and fraternally, Lawrin Armstrong

Dear, sweet Marie has left us with a hole in our hearts. Love, prayers and thoughts are with Arthur, Bev, Janet, Ann and Susan as well as their families. She was a dear sweet person, kind to everybody, but being a McCarthy could be a little saucy at times. I have so many memories of us living together when we moved to Dartmouth. I will miss our chats about our time together. My sisters Jean and Dorothy are also saddened by her passing and will miss her. Her special nephew Andy and his wife Heather, who treated her like their mother after the passing of Helen will feel her absence. I have received many messages and calls from Eastwood, where she lived, commenting on the kindness she showed other residents. Fly high with the angels Marie, Heaven has gained a special one.

To Gloria and family
We are very sorry and sad to hear about Marie's passing. Marie was a very happy person and was always smiling and very kind. I first met Marie at 55 Creighton Avenue where Marie and my aunt's lived. My daughter is 14 and is disabled and she loved Marie. My daughter always asked to go see Marie. We would go visit Marie and Marie always smiled and invited us in and she gave Breannda a little treat and that made Breannda very happy. She was just asking me how Marie was doing the other day. My aunt kaye loved Marie and always said Marie was a lovely person. Big hugs to you all Love Louannda, kaye and Breannda.

Marie’s family:
I was so sorry to learn of Marie’s passing, she lived a long full
life and along with her husband raised a wonderful family. Marie and I shared many conversations over our lifetime, reminiscing about our younger years, struggles and challenges of raising our families. Above all we talked about how proud we were of our families. Marie was a kind and caring person who was well respected and liked by anyone who knew her. Keep your happy and fond memories close to your heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad and difficult time.

What a wonderful kind lady Marie was. I always enjoyed my chats with Marie when our paths would cross after she moved to Dartmouth. They always involved talking about family and the eastern shore, which she loved.

Your mother was a lovely human. I looked forward to seeing her at Parker’s store; she was always friendly, kind, and welcoming and, inevitably, we would chat and share stories. Sending sincere sympathy to all of you. God Bless.

We are so saddened by the passing of our Aunt Marie. Mom and her were always so very close, attending Normal Collège, marrying brothers and living their married life next door. She was like a second mother to Elizabeth and I as we grew up and in the passing of Mom, she took on the full roll of being our Mother as she committed to Mom during her final hours here on earth. Bev, Janet, Anne, Arthur and Susan always have been more like siblings than cousins and we share Marie's loss in the same way. We are sure that Mom, Dad, Marie and Sherman are all reunited and enjoying each others company once again.
Our Deepest Sympathy to Bev, Janet, Anne, Arthur, Susan and surviving Sisters Gloria, Dorothy and Jean.

My sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom. I felt honor to have met her. We had many conversations over the past few years that I worked for her. She became more of a friend than a client. We enjoyed each others company and I would have done anything for this sweet woman. Even though she didn`t remember me over the past few years I always kept her in my thoughts. She was an angel and she will not be forgotten.

Our most sincere condolances to all of Marie's family, especially her children. It is hard losing your mom.
Some of my earliest memories include Marie and she was always happy and so very nice to me. No matter if I was with Arthur hunting squirrels or biking the roads with Susan, Marie was always there with a smile and a snack.
Keep each other close and treasure the great memories of a wonderful woman.
