Fancy, Pauline Ruth- 69, Marie Joseph

 It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of our beloved Pauline who passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke on Thursday, June 20th, 2019. Born in Ecum Secum on April, 8th 1950, she was a daughter of the late Burton and Lillian (Croucher)Pace of Ecum Secum. Pauline touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity. One of her biggest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing crib, bingo and going on outings. Survived by her loving husband Merle of 51 years, sisters Dorothy (Jimmy), Donna (Alan), brother Bobby and also daughters Danita (Dana), Tanya (Keith), Molly (Jody), Mona (Leonard), grandchildren, Angela, Chaz, Corey, Cody, Jessica, Graci, Kaylee, great-grandchildren, Claire, Lauren, Harlow and Hudson. She was predeceased by sister Hazel, and brother Junior.  Her family would like to thank the staff of St. Mary’s Memorial, St. Martha’s, and the QEII hospitals. Also, a special mention to Trish, her palliative care nurse, and the Melrose nurses. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Ecum Secum Funeral Chapel Tuesday, June 25 from 7-9pm with prayers at 7:30. Private burial at a later date.  Family flowers only.
