MacDonald, William (Bill) Charles - 70, Harrigan Cove, died suddenly at home Friday October 11, 2024. Born in Harrigan Cove November 12, 1953, he was a son of the late Raymond and Rita (Gammon) MacDonald.
Bill worked for several years with BIO, along with many other places as a labourer. Bill was a jack of all trades, working as a lobster fisherman, a deckhand on the crab boats and also worked at Northern Fibre over the course of his life. He enjoyed hunting, especially duck hunting, and fishing. Bill enjoyed shooting darts, playing cards and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survived by his wife Annette, children, Jennifer (Jeff) Faulkner, Cole Harbour, Joanne (Shawn) Pelley, Lawrencetown, Janet MacDonald (Jason Levy), Chezzetcook, and Billy (Tanisha) MacDonald, Marie Joseph; nine grandchildren, Khloey, Kasey, Colby, Eliza, Ben, Jaxon, Raelyn, Jayse and Bodhie; sister Sheila (Arthur) Richardson, Mitchell Bay, Uncle Joe (Linda) Gammon, and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Bob and sister Ruby.
Cremation has taken place. By request there will be no visitation or funeral. Burial will be at a later date.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
