My sincere condolences to Gina, Harold & family & Lonnie, Marguerite & family.
It was a big shock to learn that Ossie had passed. He was a very social person who had many friends & could walk into a room of strangers & know everything about them when he left.
We dated for many years and had many adventures together, attending functions and dances in the community & would drive as far as New Glasgow to dance. We remained friends when we parted and he will always hold a special place in my heart. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Sandra Levy

Q: What will you never forget about Oswald?
A: From the time I was a little girl, old enough to speak, I apparently always hollered out to him and said "Hi Ossie", every time I saw him, no matter where we were!
After growing up and moving away, every time I saw Ossie, he would talk about how I always did that.
About a month before Ossie passed, I was in Ecum Secum for the weekend, and as we were leaving to go home, he came out on his deck. Just for old-times, I hollered over and said " Hi Ossie". We both laughed. Little did I know that he would be gone so soon after that, but I will always smile when I think of him.
Gina, Lonnie and all the family, our thoughts are with you.

Our sympathy and condolences to the family. Ossie took us under his wing when we moved here to Ecum Secum. He has been such a good friend and we were happy to include him in our extended family. He will be so missed but the laughs and the funny moments we will always remember. He taught us to look at the lighter side of life.
