Cook, Leonard Ross "Lennie"- 64, Sheet Harbour died Tuesday September 10, 2024 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born September 12, 1960 in Sheet Harbour he was a son of the late Watson & June (Smith) Cook. Lennie worked at Cooks Home Hardware in Moncton for several years before entering the armed forces then retiring to Sheet Harbour. Lennie also worked construction in Western Canada for a period of time. He loved music, was artistic and enjoyed tinkering with small projects. Survived by sisters; Myrna (Frank) Cormier, Christina both of Berry Mills, N.B., a nephew and niece, and several cousins. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 22 at 1p.m. in St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery, Watt Section Rev. Dr. Michael Foley officiating.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
