I remember Kimberley's bright smile and infections laugh; I don't think I ever saw her in a bad mood. I remember the stir she made the first time she wore her ripped jeans to school, (long before they were fashionable), she was always ahead of her time! I remember her asking me one day if I was busy during my prep period as she needed her university application letter typed up. I agreed to do it, but I questioned her on a number of the items she had included; one being the fact that she had received a case of Coke as a prize in a beauty pageant. I wasn't sure that this fact was relevant, but she assured me that it was part of what made her who she was. It was always a pleasure to have a chat with Kimberley, when I ran into her on her visits home, to see what was new with her.
