Slaunwhite, Robert Frederick (Bob), 89, Liscomb Mills, passed away in Sherbrooke Hospital on October 8, 2023. Born in Halifax Sept. 3, 1934 and was raised in Terence Bay, N.S. He was the son of Ellsworth Murdock and Thelma (Nehiley) Slaunwhite. Bob was pre-deceased by his spouse, Joyce Tibert. He is survived by step-children Barbara Crant (Paul), Charlottetown, PEI, Jean Kenney, Cecil MacDougall, Dartmouth N.S., Edward MacDougall (Jocelyn), Vaughan, N.S. and several step-grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home, Sheet Harbour. No visitation or flowers by request. A graveside service will be held Monday October 23 at 2p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7076 Mumford Road, Halifax. Donations can be made to St. Luke’s Cemetery Liscomb. The family would like to thank the Doctor's and Nurse's at St Mary's hospital in Sherbrooke for the wonderful care given to Bob and thank you to the wonderful home support workers Peggy, Emily and Elsie.
