Obituary of Yvonne Boutilier

Boutilier, Mary “Yvonne”- 78, Sheet Harbour died Saturday September 2, 2023 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born September 25,1944 in Louisdale she was a daughter of the late Hyacinthe and Madeline (Samson) Sampson. In Yvonne’s earlier life she met her husband Michael in Louisdale and they came to Sheet Harbour where they lived until 1986 when they moved to Ontario where Yvonne got a job as a property manager for an apartment complex for several years. They moved back to Sheet Harbour in 1994 where she lived until her death. Yvonne enjoyed bingo, game shows, active with the Seniors Club and was very helpful with the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Survived by children, Joey (Paula), Barrie, Ont., Michael “Scott” (Patricia), Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Anne (Ray) Strain, Hamilton Ont., 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, sister Marie Gordon. Predeceased by husband Michael, daughter Donna, sisters Evelyn and Sylvia. Visitation will be held Thursday September 7 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. with prayers at 7:30 all in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. A funeral service will be held Friday September 8 at 2:30p.m. in St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Sheet Harbour Father Vincent officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
