Sorry to hear this sad news this late . Joan was a special friend to my Mother, Mary, when they lived across the hall from each other. They referred to themselves as Sisters. I will always remember her as a smiling cheerful person and special friend to my Mother.

Ohhhh I loved your mom.. she was such a wonderful person and talented. Loved having her in our painting class at The Edgemere Seniors Complex. She always had great stories of the family and her life. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
