Boutilier, Eva Beatrice- 91, Sheet Harbour died Tuesday April 4, 2023 in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Born in Spry Bay May 25, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Gordon & Leona (Connor) Boutilier. She was a past member of Eastern Star, Maple Leaf Chapter #23 Sheet Harbour. Eva was very active in St. Michaels Anglican Church with the ACW and choir. She could always be counted on for fundraising for the church or community. Eva enjoyed dancing, card parties, especially 45’s and loved to tell a joke. Survived by brothers; Harold (Bertha), Halifax, Donald (Jean), Robie (Linda), both of Spry Bay and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Doug. No visitation by request, funeral service will be held Wednesday April 12, 2023 at 10a.m. in St. James Anglican Church, Spry Bay Rev. Debra Burleson officiating. Internment in St. Michaels Anglican Cemetery, Sheet Harbour. Reception to follow at St. James Anglican Church Hall, Spry Bay. The family would like to thank the staff at Harbourview Lodge, Lighthouse Way for the care and compassion they showed to Eva while she was there, as well at the staff at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke for their wonderful care. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
