MacKinnon, Charles “Hector”- 82, East Quoddy died Saturday January 21, 2023 at home. Born in PEI April 17, 1940 he was a son of the late Charles & Edna (Bears) MacKinnon. Hector was employed with Volvo Canada as a mechanic, retiring after 31 years of service. Survived by his wife Helen, sons; Mark (Barb), Eastern Passage, Craig (Lynne), Fall River, granddaughter Courtney, great grandson Cole, sisters; Frances & Marion, brother Donald, step brothers Carl & Eric, step sister Joan. Hector will be greatly missed by his good friends Teddy, Alan and Alex. Predeceased by step father Dudley Hilty, sisters Shirley & Margaret Ann, brothers Clarence, step sisters Jean, Ruth & Evelyn, step brothers Jack & Eddie. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or funeral. The family would like to thank all the hospitals, medical staff, Fire Department, EHS, RCMP and Crowells Funeral Home.
