mom and Dad enjoyed Uncle Hubert’s many visits and Mom dropped by frequently on her many walks....kind words, and many laughs. It was at least 30 years ago that Uncle Hubert took his boat out to sea searching for Dad and Don when their small boat broke down....he never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Always remembered. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
