Munroe, Nancy Carol- 77 Halifax died peacefully Tuesday February 16, 2021 in the QEII Infirmary Site. Born in Halifax August 30, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Herman & Olive (Le Huquet) Munroe. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved being around her family & friends, and loved to laugh. When she was younger she worked on the shore, salting and packing fish. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed doing puzzles. She was a very neat person, her house was always spotless. Survived by companion Gerald Boutilier, children Fred (Karen) Boutilier, Mushaboom, Heather (Craig) Liddel, Victoria B.C., two grandchildren Holly (Andrew), Sheet Harbour , Emily, Victoria B.C., two great grandchildren Sienna and Jaime Lynn both of Sheet Harbour, sisters; Linda (Robie), Spry Bay, Rose (Wade) Weeks, Mushaboom, brothers; Ronald, Richard (Frances) both of Mushaboom. Predeceased by son Dennis, sisters; Dorothy, Mildred, Jean, Joan, brothers; Stanley, Clarence, Russell and Fred in infancy. Funeral Service will be held Monday February 22 at 2:00p.m. in St. Pauls Anglican Church, Mushaboom Rev. Trish Ingram officiating, burial in the church cemetery. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
