Donnie’s family:
Well I’ve known Donnie ever since I was a child. We always got along well and I really enjoyed our conversations and especially are days playing ball and hockey together. Donnie was a strong competitor and good athlete. A hard worker his whole life and it was very sad to think how his last years unfolded. Donnie, you won’t be forgotten and RIP my friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time.

So sorry to hear that Donnie has passed away. Spent many a Friday night playing defence along side of him. A guy that would always stand up for you, a good person and a great friend. Will be missed. Shame Reinhardt

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
