Rose, Theresa Phyllis- 78, Dartmouth, it is with great sadness the family announce her passing on December 5, 2020 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born August 10, 1942 she was a daughter of the late Roy & Bessie Breen of Marie Joseph. She was a devoted member of St. James United Church, Dartmouth and was a longtime member of the UCW and did volunteer work for the church. Phyllis enjoyed her time spent with friends as a member of the Red Hats. Survived by sons Gary, Dartmouth, Glen (Catherine), Eastern Passage, Catherine's son Clayton and best friend Mona Hamm. Predeceased by husband Clyde and brother Roger. Cremation has taken place, no visitation by request. A private committal service will take place Saturday December 12 at 1:00p.m. in St. Johns Anglican Cemetery, Necum Teuch. Words of comfort can be sent to the family at www.crowellsfuneralhome.ca

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
