Brad, Karla, Randy, David and Phil. I am truly sorry and a bit heartbroken that I will not be at this service for your mother. I have so many good memories of both of your parents (and you!) and of growing up in this great extended family of ours. You are all in my thoughts.

Hello Brad. Not sure if you remember me, Melanie Kelly, but we worked together on 4S. I noticed your Mom’s obituary yesterday. I so remember all the stories you used to tell about your Mom and I know that you were very close to her. I know her death was a couple of years ago but having lost both of my parents I do know they live on in us in their own way everyday. I know that you were very involved in her care and having seen the care you always gave our patients she was in good hands. I know you were a good son. Take care.

I was saddened to hear of aunt Dottie's passing. Her and Neil always welcomed me into their home and were always so nice to me. She would always feed me as soon as I walked in the door! I enjoyed visiting her and Neil every year at Christmas. My condolences to the family. The world has lost a bright light. There will never be another like her.

Phil, Bonnie and extended family; Gloria picked up on the obituary of your mother in the Chronicle Herald. As long time acquaintances we wish to extend our sincere sympathy to you and yours. An interesting tribute to a life well lived. A matter of interest footnote; When I went to work at Moir's/Ben's in 1964 the salesman for the Eastern shore was Neil Jewers.! Later in my days I supervised and hired in that area for the company until things changed to the point the sales were removed from Sheet Harbour to Truro. See you some day at 'the corner', Phil.

Dottie may have been little in stature but she was mighty in what she accomplished! I appreciated her faithful support of Peter when we lived in Ecum Secum. Our sympathy, prayers and love to all the family.

A stalwart soul and great encourager. I could count on lunch if I dropped by within the hours of 11am - 3pm or freshly baked something or other at 4pm. (sometimes 5pm and supper if I got Elaine's permission). Of course the prayer book theology was always a topic of conversation and Neil and the children. We would talk prayer strategies then prayer for each of them. Yes Dottie was a great woman and the apple of His eye. Love to you all. Peter

We will keep Aunt Dottie in our hearts and memories for the special person she was. Our favourite memory...Dottie bringing us homemade biscuits and homemade jam while we were painting the Smith cottage in Moser River...so sweet and caring...then running off because she had so many other generous things to do that day. Much love to Dottie’s family, Bernie & Christine xxoo

Doris was a wonderful lady who always had a cheerful disposition and a generous heart, which she passed onto her children. It was always a pleasure to see her coming into the gas station and pumping her gas. There was always a quick conversation to check in to see how my day was and a little laughter. She will be missed dearly. Condolences to the family. I hope you find comfort in knowing that her generous ways are carried on through all of you. Prayers

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I can remember coming up to your house many times over the years with our mom Bertina Pace. and your mom coming to our house. I know for sure they are up in Heaven remembering all the fun times they had together from going on trips to going for their walks together every day. Your Mom was a very special lady and a friend to all especially to people in our community. Your family will certainly remember all the great times you all had together. You all now have your very own special Angel watching over you and when you look up at night at the sky and you see a very bright star twinkling down at you that is your mom letting you all know that she is happy and safe and she is doing fine. May the Lord wrap His Loving Arms around you at this very sad time in your lives.. Love Peggy Gail Kaye and Ken and Marie Pace
