Obituary of Wallace Cyril Hilchie

Age 89, Popes Harbour, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020, in Clarmar Assisted Living, Dartmouth. Born in Popes Harbour September 12, 1931, he was a son of the late James and Evelyn (Connors) Hilchey. In his earlier years Wallace worked for MacKenzie Transfer and then drove taxi for many years with Olympic Taxi. Survived by son, Shawn, Halifax; sisters, Ina Monk, East Ship Harbour; Marilyn (Mark) Jennings, Popes Harbour; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Eldon and Harold in infancy. A graveside committal service will be held Monday, November 2nd, at 2 p.m., in St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery, Spry Harbour, Rev. Lorraine Otto officiating. Family flowers only, donations may be made to St. Andrews Anglican Church, Spry Harbour.
