I loved visiting Aunt Shirley and Uncle Vernon. Aunt Shirley was always so cheery and happy with a great big smile on her face. Whenever she saw me, she always had a great big hug for me and invited me down anytime. I will miss her. Sending love and hugs to Janet, Dale, Gary and all the family during this difficult time.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
