Gail and I were very saddened to see this notice on the Vets site. Dave certainly enjoyed a very active life, full of adventures and good times. I remember the fun times he and I had while at Depot and have a few pictures he would have had a good laugh in seeing again. It was wonderful seeing you both at our 25th. wedding anniversary...he was definitely our 'best man' at our wedding in 72!! Very sorry we didn't keep in touch. Our very sincere condolences on this sad occasion.

Georgette, we just learned of Dave's passing. May your memories of the great times together give you strength at this difficult time. Our memory is of Dave with a twinkle in his eyes and a grin. This seemed to be his way to let you know he had words of wisdom to say which would make you laugh and have a much better day. May he rest in peace and make all the angels smile with his wonderful sense of humour.
P. S. In the mustache department I could never compete with him.

My greatest condolences to my God-mother Georgette! I have so many fond memories from getting a motor cycle ride from Fredericton to Shediac with Dave to being lectured about not putting the seat back in Dave’s truck. Many weekends spent together during my childhood that created life long memories.
Love you ❤️

Georgette and Family: I am one of the guys who went to Labrador fishing with Dave along with Dave Dunphy and Larry Bennett. On the last trip my son Danny joined us. Dave and I had met previously but these trips might draw you to a specific time and place where I entered the scene. I was very sad when I viewed Dave's passing via RCMP Vet Newsletter. I was not aware of his recent poor health and had I known, I would have been in touch.
Although I have not seen Dave in a few years, the friendship we had and memories we made will last my lifetime. Thank god I still have the videos of those trips.
The two of you must have a very special relationship. He was always talking about you and telling stories about things you did together. I know you will miss him very much as will everyone who came into contact with him. Please pass on my condolences to your family.

No words to describe how we feel! The memories would take more space than we have here. The voice of reason, the strength of your beliefs, your unparalleled friendship, your sense of humour, (sometimes not so funny!! lol), the ability to make everyone at ease and to make everything sound easy, the unending and unquestionable love and total respect you had for George that was so obvious in your speech and actions, are just a few pieces of the person you were that we will miss but always remember as being a part of your very essence. Many a tears ran down my legs when you shared the many escapades you, Clifford and other great friends shared. Thank you, thank you, thank you ... WE WILL LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU FOREVER AND EVER
